Commentaires sur "The Shortest Straw"
Le maccarthysme. Cette chasse aux sorcières qui était censé arrêter les espions communistes pendant la guerre froide... Elle plongea l'Amérique des années 50 dans la paranoïa totale. Les innocentes victimes et le caractère parfois arbitraire de cette chasse ont retenus l'attention de James sur ce titre.
